The Director will then make teams based upon the depth chart.
Many variables do come into play when picking teams; director has final say in decisions.
Players will be sized for uniforms during registration.
Note to returning players. We are going with a new uniform company, so everyone needs to get sized for new a new uniform.

Selection based upon a number of variables (i.e. position needs)
If we feel we have made a mistake, we will look into rectifying the issue.
We plan on having one team at each grade level in 2010.The tryouts will determine final team decisions.
ACCEPTANCE/DECLINING OF OFFERS:
Offers will be made on Tuesday, April 6th.Parents have until April 8th to decide whether to decline or accept. Our first practice will tentatively be on April 11th.Coaches will call the parents of those that attended the tryouts to make offers; players can be added later if the initial offers are declined.
Players not initially selected should note that they might be called back in the event another player forfeits their spot on a team.

Notes:
Teams will be fielded at age divisions or grades depending upon interest.
The RFBA believes strongly that members should NOT move up in age (role-player theory).
Try-outs will be conducted to build the strongest team at each age-level.
AGE GROUPS AND PLAYER PLACEMENT:
Summer basketball events can be divided into different levels base upon age or by grade.
The RFBA’s policy is to not move players up in age level - with some exceptions due to extenuating circumstances and approved by the club director.
The club’s goal is to place players at a level that will be both challenging but will also allow for success and development to occur.
Moving players up too soon will develop role players instead of allowing one to completely develop to one’s fullness.
Returning members should not make any assumptions on their place on a particular team; they should not expect to get a particular coach; they need to know that their team from last year will most likely not stay together; they are NOT guaranteed a spot on a team.
